The main objective of the Huambo Project is to improve access to clean and reliable water supply services for the communities in the project area. This includes improving water quality, expanding coverage and ensuring the sustainability and resilience of the water supply infrastructure. The project also aims to promote socio-economic development, public health and environmental and climate sustainability through the adoption of better water management practices.
The Huambo Project covers the municipalities of Huambo and Caála, without the “Centralidades” of Lossambo and Caála, where the company also currently operates. It should be noted that EPASH-E.P.’s current coverage only includes the urban and peri-urban areas of these municipalities.
